Returns Policy

You may return any unused items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We’ll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. (You received an incorrect item, etc.)  To start a return please email orders@grownlocal.co with your order number and what you want to return. 

Returned items must reach us in the same condition they left us.

We do not accept returns for perishable goods such as food

Damaged in Transit

If your parcel has been damaged in transit you must notify us within 3 working days by emailing your order number and photos of the packaging and damaged items to orders@grownlocal.co

Once we have received your return or investigated your damaged goods, we will issue a refund within 3-5 working days please allow up to 10 working days for your bank to process your refund.

Seed Orders

Our seeds are sourced from a number of professional growers , all seeds have been lab tested for pathogens and microbial contaminants such as e-coli, and salmonella . 

We have carried out in-house germination tests to guarantee germination and quality.

We cannot guarantee mould free seed, due to variations in batches, seed density and different growing environments refunds will not be provided on mould issues. If you are experiencing mould issues please sanitise the seed using a 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide in a soak for 8-10 minutes followed by a rinse using clean water.

Seeds are delivered in fully recyclable ziplock pouches and shipped in fully compostable packaging.

It’s important to remember that seeds are living products, the germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media.

If you fail to get your seeds to germinate please contact us and we will provide advice if you remain unhappy we will provide a in store credit on return of unused seeds.
